MARKETING INTERN
As a Marketing Intern at Outspirex, you’ll be part of a small, creative team shaping the voice of a mission-driven brand. You’ll get hands-on experience across multiple aspects of marketing, from content creation to community building to strategy. Your work will directly influence how people discover, connect with, and feel about Outspirex. About Us: Outspirex is an emerging ultralight gear brand with a rebellious streak. We create durable, functional bags using upcycled paragliders and parachutes, transforming high-adrenaline fabric into everyday adventure gear. Sustainability is our core, but we don’t preach it. We make it fun, bold, and rebellious. Think: “Rebel for the Planet.” Key Responsibilities: Assist in creating content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, newsletters, blog, etc.) Help brainstorm and schedule campaigns around product drops, events, and stories Research relevant sustainability, outdoor, and lifestyle trends Engage with the OutspireX community across platforms Analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements Contribute to brand storytelling and copywriting You Might Be a Fit If You: Are studying marketing, communications, media, or a related field Love the outdoors, sustainability, and/or storytelling Have a knack for social media trends and aesthetic content Are detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated Can shoot/edit short-form content (a bonus but not required) Want to learn, experiment, and make an impact at a growing startup Appreciate mission-driven gear, dirt under your nails, and brands with a mission This is an unpaid internship, but comes with gear perks, creative freedom, and the chance to help shape a brand from the ground up. PRODUCTION SEWIST - CONTRACT
OutspireX is seeking skilled and reliable Production Sewists to support small-batch and ongoing production. This role focuses on efficient, high-quality assembly of identical items, not custom or creative sewing. We are looking for individuals who can work independently, maintain consistency, and meet deadlines. Responsibilities Sew and assemble products according to provided specifications and instructions Complete multiple identical items with consistent quality Meet production deadlines and output targets Perform basic quality checks on finished pieces Communicate progress and flag any issues early Maintain an organized and efficient workspace Requirements Prior sewing experience (production or repetitive sewing preferred) Ability to follow instructions and replicate items consistently Strong attention to detail and stitch quality Ability to work efficiently on repetitive tasks Reliable communication and responsiveness Access to a sewing machine and basic tools (if working remotely) Preferred Qualifications Experience with batch or production sewing Familiarity with garment construction or similar products Ability to manage time and meet deadlines independently Work Setup Remote / home-based (must have your own equipment) Flexible schedule, but must meet agreed-upon deadlines Ongoing work available based on performance Compensation Paid per piece Typical earnings equivalent to ~$18–$20/hour based on production speed and consistency Paid test task required before onboarding Important Notes This is a production-focused role, not a design or custom sewing position Work involves repeating the same item multiple times with precision Consistency and reliability are critical for success in this role How to apply: Please send cover letter, resume and portfolio/examples of experience to hello@outspirex.com Selected applicants will be invited to complete a short paid test task.
